One thing I’ve noticed over and over again—both in my own parenting and in the work I do with families—is that gifted kids often have a hard time dealing with struggle.

These are the kids who soak up information, love learning, and ask incredibly deep questions… but completely fall apart if something doesn’t come easily or perfectly the first time. I’ve seen it in my own home and in the stories that parents share with me all the time.
